These are all names for a way of travelling and taking holidays for those who do not like mass tourism and its impact on the world.

It's about respecting and benefiting local people and the environment – but it's about far more than that.

Everyone wants to help and we know teachers want to help more than most. While many teachers would like to take 3 months

or a year to go and work on a project abroad it is just not feasible. This is where voluntourism holidays work best.

Here are some two week holidays that will make a difference, to you and a community that needs help.

This site has been created for teachers, their friends and family to take a holiday where everyone can contribute their time

and experience in helping others. Just by going to the area and spending money you will make life better for everyone.

On these holidays each client can do as much or as little as they wish. One may wish to work every day, their partner may want to

stay on the beach, no problem, no pressure its your holiday and just going to the area makes a real difference.

If you want to make a difference in some of the areas hit by natural disasters such as the tsunami and work on community projects - then a volunteer holiday is for you!
